Cemanahuac (sem-ah-NOW-ock) is situated on a quiet street in the Las Palmas neighborhood of Cuernavaca. The downtown area is one mile north, about a 20 minute walk. Cuernavaca is called the city of eternal springtime because perched at 5,200 ft, it has a warm and agreeable climate year round. It is easy to get to from Mexico City, with the Mexico City airport only a 90 minute drive.
The school buildings are nestled in a garden with palm, African tulip, citrus, and many other types of trees providing shade. Thirty-five classrooms are sprinkled around the property, some in covered palapas, others in indoor/outdoor rooms. We also have an extensive library, a snack bar, a swimming pool, an internet room, and a nice rooftop area for bird-watching or a quiet place to study.
Come to Cemanahuac where you not only are you taught in a classroom but you are immersed in the culture and you get an opportunity to really learn the language and apply what you are learning.
